Pick out 1/2 to 1 cup of marshmallows from the cereal...put aside to top treats
Cut butter into smaller pieces and add to microwave safe bowl.
Add bag of marshmallows to bowl.
microwave for 30 seconds at a time until butter and marshmallows are melted. Stir melted marshmallows together with the butter.
Add cereal to the bowl. Mix well...coating all of the cereal.
Spray an 8x8 pan with cooking spray.
Pour Marshmallow mix into 8x8 pan. Pat down with a rubber spatula until slightly packed together.
Place the remaining colored marshmallows on the top, lightly pushing them into the treats.
Wait at least 1 hour before cutting.
