Banana Split Cookies

Fruit, frosting and chocolate sauce...just like any GOOD banana split.

Servings 24 cookies

Ingredients
  

Crust

  • 1 16 oz package refrigerated sugar cookie dough

Frosting

  • 1 8 oz cream cheese (I prefer the whipped type)
  • 1 tsp vanilla For the best frosting of your life, throw in an additional tsp of almond extract too. YUMMM!!!
  • 1.5 cups powdered sugar

Toppings

  • sliced strawberries
  • sliced bananas
  • chocolate syrup

Instructions
 

  • Bake cookies according to package instructions. Cool.
  • Mix cream cheese, vanilla, and powdered sugar to make frosting.
  • Top each cookie with cream cheese frosting. Top with sliced strawberries and bananas. Drizzle chocolate syrup on top. DEVOUR!!
  • These are best when eaten RIGHT after making. They WILL last if you store them in the fridge, but the cookie will begin to get soggy. Or you can make a few hours ahead and add chocolate right before eating, bananas may brown though in the fridge. If you want more of a chocolate covered strawberry treat, skip the bananas.
