Farmhouse Style On A Budget

My two favorite things are FARMHOUSE STYLE…and A GOOD DEAL!! So when I can get super cute farmhouse decor AND not break the bank, I am one happy girl!! Here are a few of my current farmhouse crushes…

These pillows are so versatile…perfect for layering. And they come as a 2 pack , which makes them only around $12 each!!!

In my opinion, you can never have too many trays. Any time I want to add a cute vignette to a tabletop, nightstand, kitchen counter, ANYWHERE, I always start with a pretty tray. This great farmhouse tray is under $14 and would look great in ANY room of the house.

And another fun option is this amazing wire tray…I am loving those handles!!

I always want to add rugs to my house, but the price always holds me back. These cute oval jute rugs from Walmart are such a fun option, and the price is SOOOO much better than most jute rugs I have priced!!

These chunky knitted throws EXPLODED last year…everyone wanted them. BUT some of them cost well over $200 and THAT is just not an option for me. When I buy a throw blanket it has to be washable, cute, and pet friendly. This chunky throw comes in pretty much EVERY color and the small size is only $20 and it would be plenty big to throw over the back of the couch or on the end of the bed. I love when something SOOOOO trendy finally becomes affordable!!

I get asked all the time what the NEXT season trends will be. Let me tell ya ONE thing I know…buffalo plaid is NOT going anywhere this year. Everyone is still loving it and the best part…it will look just as cute for Christmas as it will for Fall as it will for Summer!!! These buffalo plaid pillows are only about $11 each and are a perfect TOUCH of plaid to add to your decor.

Because I have pets that sleep on my bed and I wash my bed spreads A LOT, I am always looking to switch out my bed covers. This bed spread is GORGEOUS and less than $35. It looks JUST like bedding I have eyed for hundreds of dollars, and I am tempted to snatch it up before that price goes away. I am IN LOVE with this one!!

I am a sucker for throw blankets. I have them EVERYWHERE…on the couches, next to the chairs, on the end of my bed, in baskets, EVERYWHERE. when I find a good deal on such a cute throw blanket, I cannot help but nab it!!

The letter board craze is still going strong, and I love that this letterboard has a little farmhouse flare with the barnwood frame. These are so fun for the first day of school, weddings, holidays, or just to add your favorite quote.

Everyone went nuts with the layering rugs last year and they are STILL super popular headed into fall. If you already have a cute door mat, by adding the layering rug underneath, it just makes it that much more fun!!

It can be hard to know how to add a little decor to your table since it is used EVERY day. I love to add place mats because they can stay on the table and be used, but can also add a touch of cute when you want to dress up your tablescape.

One of the hardest items for me to organize is my jewelry…it ends up EVERYWHERE. And sometimes I don’t even bother wearing jewelry because it is such a mess that I cannot find what I want…or its too tangled to bother with. I love that this jewelry holder is both useful AND pretty. It looks like decor, but has enough space to hold all sorts of jewelry.

Coffee and cocoa stations are all the rage right now and I LOVE this mug rack. What a great solution for both storage AND decor:)

I have no words for how much I love ticking…and ruffles…and pillows!! This ticking pillow checks ALL of those boxes!!

I have a wide variety of white pitchers around because they go with EVERYTHING. I use them as vases, utensil holders, decor, and of course serving. I love the shape of this Better Homes and Garden white pitcher and MAY need to add this one to my collection.

Adding farmhouse flair does NOT have to cost a fortune. Just by adding small touches here and there you can get the farmhouse look you are craving without going broke in the process.
