Holy Summer Break you guys!! I meant to take off a week to spend with my kids for Summer and ended up taking a month long blog break!! YOU GUYS!! MY baby girl turned TEEN this week. HOW AM I AT THAT AGE ALREADY!!?? I still think of myself as a young mom…but I am pretty sure THAT particular ship has SAILED…haha!!! I remember going to my mom’s 20th class reunion bbq with her and thinking everyone was SOOOO old…and now…I am creeping up on 25 years!! I took Emmy to the mall with a few friends to celebrate her birthday and they PROMPTLY ditched me. Like…they didn’t even CONSIDER letting me tag along with them. Phew…I took a bit of an impromptu Spring Break, and one week turned into two…and then it was HARD to get back into the swing of things. We are in the homestretch of homeschool for the year, and I am NOT gonna lie, I am ready to have a bit of free time each day to FINALLY tackle some of these projects. I hope they keep them around through the summer…orrrrr I might just have to go buy ALL of the bags at Walgreens before they run out…haha!! I got to eat in a restaurant this week…whoop whoop!!
