So the highlight of my week…finding Key Lime Pie M&M’s. They are sooooo stinking good. I hope they keep them around through the summer…orrrrr I might just have to go buy ALL of the bags at Walgreens before they run out…haha!!

I got to eat in a restaurant this week…whoop whoop!! Chips and salsa with friends…is there anything better??!! After this crazy year of lock down, I would settle for Burger King with friends…not even kidding.

This was a fun week over on the blog. I added new cute March Printable Cash Envelopes AND St. Patrick’s Day Book Page Banner. Also, I shared spring inspiration from my spring kitchen and dining room…plus tips on how to decorate for spring on a budget. AND I shared some AMAZING Walmart finds from this week. SOOOO much cute farmhouse goodness right now at Walmart, and some fun spring outfits too!! The Better Homes and Garden line at Walmart just keeps getting BETTER and BETTER!!

Wanna know what I found this week that I CANNOT live without?!?!

Last week on instagram I asked for advice on a good set of mixing bowls because my lids are SHOT on the mixing bowls I got on for my wedding. SOOOO many of you said that I needed to splurge and get the Pampered Chef mixing bowl set, but (surprise surprise) I am way to cheap for that. Since my bowls are still in good shape, I decided to just grab new lids. ANDDDD I am sooooo excited that I found THESE silicone lids. Stretchy, easy to clean, and under $15…yes please!!!

I know this will be ZERO shock to you, but I am finding that there are SOOOOO many books out there about Jane Austen. Like EVERY TIME I think I am done, I find ANOTHER Jane novel. I just grabbed THIS one because it is about Jane Austen traveling to the present day…how could I resist that?? I will keep you posted.

We are heading RIGHT into the teen years with kid one over here, and zits seem to be an every day conversation. I have had THESE zit patches in my own arsenal for a few years, and LOVED them, but I just passed them along to Emmy…and they have helped SOOO much. They are great because they are a clear sticker…you could honestly wear them all day with nobody REALLY noticing. AND they work. After wearing it all night, when you remove the sticker, you can actually SEE the gunk that has been pulled from under your skin sucked into the patch. I have no clue what the science is, but you cannot argue with results.

Some days I feel EVERY single day of my 41 years. BUT some days I see color changing cups on Instagram and IMMEDIATELY decide I MUST have some. I think it goes back to my elementary school days with hypercolor shirts and color changing sun glasses. BUT I PROMISE to NEVER buy another pair of Hammer pants…EVER!!!

The basic gist is…you have a plain colored cup, you put cold liquid into it, and it turns into a CUTE cup. AND just for the record, they also have HOT color changing cups for hot liquid. I am not a coffee drinker, but if I WAS, I would want hypercolor coffee cups FOR SURE!!

I HAD to grab THIS Anne Of Green Gables inspired book this week too. I mean…Orchard Slope is IN THE TITLE!! Haha. It has not arrived yet, but I will FOR sure tell you all about it when I finish. I was always so happy that Anne found Diana, it will be fun to see what Diana was going through by choosing to have Anne for a friend.

What is catching my eye over on Pinterest this week??

You know I love food that is FUN, and THESE St. Patrick’s Day rainbow waffles are AMAZING!!! My kids would go crazy if I could create waffles this cute.

And HERE is another super fun and easy St. Patrcick’s Day breakfast idea. Since Covid has kept us home so much, I have been trying to add some fun touches to holidays…and just by making food GREEN or adding holiday sprinkles, my kids feel like I have done something SUPER special.

Speaking of special…nothing says I love you like rainbow candy…haha. Check out this AMAZING St. Patrick’s Day Charcuterie board. SOOOOOOO cool!!

Six Sisters Stuff ALWAYS have the best recipes, and I am dying to make THESE breakfast enchiladas. YUM!! Cheese and eggs…best breakfast combo EVER!! I also just added their Mexican Manicotti to my TO-TRY recipe book. I think it will be a great alternative to taco night!! Six Sisters also shared THESE Lucky Charm Cereal Bars…which are basically Rice Krispie Treats, but WAYYYY cute for St. Patrick’s Day!!

I put my first bunny out this week…so we can bring on Easter any time now:) I fell in LOVE with these DIY EGGS. The tutorial seems easy enough, and these are the PRETTIEST eggs I have ever seen!!

I am always on the hunt for a cute seasonal treat to take to my church sisters, and THESE little Easter egg baskets are catching my eye. Simple and cute, and the supplies are from the Dollar Store…plus ANY excuse to eat Mini-Eggs is a PERFECT craft!!

THIS Easter tablescape is AMAZING. The terra cotta pots are simple, pretty much everyone has a few laying around, and add JUST the right amount of SPRING to the table. LOVE IT!!

Spring is pretty much my favorite…don’t tell fall because I swear 100 percent fidelity to fall when the leaves start to turn…haha!! But I will share more spring favorites NEXT week. Time to head to church!!

Come join me over on PINTEREST for more inspiration!! I love looking at projects I will NEVER complete…haha!!

WORDS FOR THE WEEK…

It is not what we say or think that defines us, but what we do.

Jane Austen–Sense and Sensibility

The world is such a strange and scary place right now…hardly recognizable from the world we left behind last March. Lately it has felt like we live in some sort of Twilight Zone reality version of life. And even though I have NO control over what is happening OUT THERE, I DO have control over my own actions. SO this week I plan to be more of a DO-ER. Give the compliment, deliver the cookies, make the text, give the smile…all of the little promptings that I sometimes ignore. This week I want to DO good and not just THINK about it. Happy Sunday Friends. Let’s chat again soon. Jess
