So I spent last night doing surgery on our Elf on the Shelf…like any normal person this time of year…haha. I mentioned his accident and another Elf on the Shelf idea HERE if you wanna go check it out. But now he is alllll healed up, off of bedrest, and back in action. And MY personal Elf on the Shelf system is to forget about him for 23 hours each day and then panic at the EXACT moment that exhaustion has set in and I am ready for bed. SOOOO I cannot go to crazy lengths with this Elf. My ideas have to be quick, simple, and ONLY use items…

You guys…I cannot get it together with this darn elf. I was super tempted to just tell the kids that the elf got Covid and be done with it, but I was honestly too tired to write a Covid letter from the darn elf. ARGHHH. Like Christmas isn’t stressful enough without this judgmental elf ruining my nights…and when I forget to move him…my mornings too!! BUT Kid 2 thinks it is SOOOOO fun when the Elf does something besides sit in the Christmas tree for 3 days, that it is hard to resist. SOOOO I grabbed some stuff we had on hand…and created a fun Elf On The Shelf, s’mores…
