San Juan Islands Whale Watching
On our recent trip to San Juan Island, there was ONE major to-do on my MUST SEE list…whales!! LUCKY for me, we were hosted by San Juan Safaris on a whale watching excursion and I got to cross one more item off of my bucket list…seeing a humpback whale. It was AMAZING!! Why San Juan Safaris? I have been on a few whale watching trips, and this one was BY FAR my favorite. We were hosted by San Juan Safaris and they were SPECTACULAR!! Are you a Hallmark movie junkie?? Do you watch them year after year over and over even though they are SOOOO predictable and you know EXACTLY how they are going to end?? Are you incapable of decorating the tree or eating Christmas cookies until midnight or wrapping presents without the endless string of stories playing in the background?? Roche Harbor Resort
Special thanks to Roche Harbor Resort for hosting our stay and to San Juan Safaris for hosting our amazing whale watching adventure. Mr. Orchard Slope and I took a quick trip up to the San Juan Islands a few weeks back, and it was HEAVEN!!! I cannot believe I have lived in Washington State for 40 years and have never experienced the upper left-hand corner. We called Roche Harbor Resort our home for the weekend and fell absolutely in love with the slow-paced island life of the sleepy resort town.
