Dangerous Alliance Book Review
We got snow this week. Like a ridiculous stupid amount of snow. Basically the entire winter in 2 days. Ugh. Add that to me being sick all week…and you get a LOT more reading time for Jessica. On the plus side, I finally got a chance to read Dangerous Alliance by Jennieke Cohen, which then put me in the mood for ALL THINGS JANE AUSTEN!! For some reason I have been holding onto this book for at least a year just waiting for the right time…and I guess the RIGHT TIME is a snow day! Who knew?!? I had 100 percent judged this book by the cover last year and…

Firefly Lane On Netflix
Today is the day!! There is a new show on Netflix based on the Kristin Hannah book Firefly Lane and it comes out today. I had the wonderful opportunity to preview the first 2 episodes last week and binged right through them…now I am ready for the rest of the season today!! Don’t expect me to be a useful member of society again until I have watched ALL of the episodes first!! BUT I know it is SUPER hard to know if a Netflix show is right for YOU, so here are my thoughts on Netflix’s new show, Firefly Lane, to try to help you decide. Disclaimer… Ok, so to…

I FINALLY watched the new “Little Women” movie
Have you seen the NEW Little Women movie yet??? I kept putting it off, but I FINALLY watched it and do you wanna know what I thought…well you will just have to wait until I tell you all about how much I love Louisa May Alcott, how I ADORE the book, and how I was a bit apprehensive of watching the new film FIRST. BUT if you want an honest review from a Little Women lover extraordinaire…it is on the way. You guys…to say that I am a fan of the Louisa May Alcott story of Little Women is SUCH an understatement of epic proportions that it is ALMOST laughable.…

Virgin River on Netflix
If you are a Robyn Carr fan, hold on to your hats because her beloved VIRGIN RIVER series has arrived on Netflix. I was not familiar with the books, but I received a copy of VIRGIN RIVER by Robyn Carr from the publisher and decided to jump right in and see what all the fuss is about. Since I am a reader at heart, let’s talk about the book first…although I have plenty to say about the show as well…so stay tuned. VIRGIN RIVER begins as Mel Monroe arrives in the remote and rugged forest town of Virgin River (population 600) to start her new life. She leaves her old…

Dolly Pardon’s Heartstrings on Netflix
Oh Dolly!!! If you know me, you KNOW that I am a HUGE Dolly Parton fan. She is just so darn cute, and fun, and sassy, and a little trashy…all the things I love!! I honestly think we could hang out and be besties…you know if she didn’t have hundreds of millions of dollars and her own theme park to run and no need of a 40 something fan-girl from small town Washington State. Anyway…enough about me…let’s talk about Dolly. Have you spotted her new Netflix show yet?? Just in case, I thought I better let you know that Dolly is back and better than ever in her Netflix series…

Netflix Christmas Movies
Are you a Hallmark movie junkie?? Do you watch them year after year over and over even though they are SOOOO predictable and you know EXACTLY how they are going to end?? Are you incapable of decorating the tree or eating Christmas cookies until midnight or wrapping presents without the endless string of stories playing in the background?? Even though you KNOW that the unemployed chef is going to fall in love with the heartbroken t.v. repairman after they get trapped in an elevator…in a snowstorm…in a castle…or whatever. It doesn’t even matter…you will watch JUST to make sure they get their happy ending. Well no judgement from me. If…

Is the Downton Abbey Movie any good???
Well, I had well-intentioned plans of watching the new Downton Abbey movie the DAY that it came out in theaters, but darn it if life didn’t get in the way. So I am a couple of weeks behind schedule. BUT the only thing that matters is…WAS the DOWNTON ABBEY MOVIE ANY GOOD?? Let me just put it this way…if you loved the shows…GO SEE THE MOVIE!! Just so that we are all on the same page, you must know a bit about me. I believe there are only two types of people in this world…those who are mildly obsessed with Downton Abbey…and those people who I do not care to…
