Walmart Wednesday: Style on a budget

Happy Walmart Wednesday guys!! Guess what?? I went INSIDE Walmart this week!! I am a BIG fan of Walmart pickup…BIG FAN!! BUT it was fun to wander the aisles again and I found some super cute items I wanted to share. So buckle up for my Walmart finds of the week!!

I have had these laundry tins in my cart on multiple occasions, but never pulled the trigger because…well my laundry room is a pit of unhappiness…haha. But seriously there is nothing cute about it. It is always piled with clothes and lost items and bags of dogfood. BUT I may need to just grab these and plan an entire makeover AROUND how cute they are!! A vintage washstand has been on my to find list for years, but they are always out of my budget when I see them. BUT this one is only $45 and JUST as cute as the originals. I actually love the white!! SOOOO cute for a front porch or out in a flower garden.

You can NEVER have too many baskets in my opinion, and THIS set of 4 is such a steal!! They come out to under $9 each. These baskets would be perfect for a pantry makeover OR for filling in some open shelves. I have some little chalkboard tags that would add JUST the touch to the front of each one too…now my wheels are turning!!

Here are two more basket sets that make my heart flutter. THIS set is just sooooo pretty. The herringbone weave is such a fun touch and the leather handles make it look WAY more expensive. Plus the smaller one is only 11 inches wide, so it will fit perfectly on an open shelf!! And THIS set, although a bit spendier, has that amazing ark shape and round handles that REALLY take it to the next level!! The Better Homes and Garden’s collection at Walmart really NEVER ceases to amaze me.

AND a list of Walmart finds cannot be complete without… pillows. This family forever pillow is about as cute as they come!! That mustard yellow is going to be coming in strong this spring and summer again too. AND for only $12!!

This next pillow is one that I have had for a while, but it is finally back in stock. THIS home pillow is only $11 and sooooo stinking cute!! It seems to sell out and come back, so if it is not available, check back again and again. It will randomly pop back up. Be like Dori and just keep swimming:)

ANDDD another winning pillow is THIS amazing textured Aztec style pillow. It could go a little Boho if you are aiming for that style, but when paired with other more farmhouse styles, it is the perfect neutral pillow. It is that texture of those French knots…stunning!!

THESE floor pillows are on the short list for our homeschool room makeover. I think they will work great for when we watch T.V. at night, but also work for a fun reading area too. I am VERY excited to have found these…they are just TOO perfect!!

This chair has been on my radar for a while now. I just bought chairs for our livingroom, but now I think those are moving to our master bedroom. SOOOOOO These chairs are on the short list for a room re-fresh. Under $200, you really cannot go wrong right!?!?!

I have not joined the egg chair craze yet, but my kiddos think these are EVERYTHING!! They go back and forth between a chair that hangs from the ceiling and these. We cannot put them outside because of our hell hound, but one would be cute tucked into the corner of a kid’s bedroom, or in a study corner.

I live in an open floor plan with very few walls, but IF I FIND A WALL, THIS BOOKSHELF is going on it. I love that little barn door SOOOO much. I actually measured our old bookshelf today to see if it needed to be replaced…this one is soooo much better!!

I don’t ever fully cover my table in a tablecloth…not sure why…but I LOVE a good table runner. THIS neutral chambray fringe runner ticks ALL of the boxes for me. Simple, goes with every season, and doesn’t break the bank. Love it!!

The pictures do not do this bag justice…seriously!! I saw this Time and Tru Rachel Tote Bag in the store and it is SOOOO pretty. I at first was drawn straight to the brown, but for summer, I am leaning towards the cream. Purses can be so expensive, and for under $25 this one LOOKS good and you do not have to be married to it for the next 5 years to get your money’s worth:) That is what I look for in a good purse…cute…and not a huge commitment. Kind of like when I was dating in college…haha!!

I am also torn between these two colors in this peasant dress. Of course I am drawn first to the animal print, but for spring and summer the floral is SOOOO fun!! Honestly for just $17 I might just grab both…they are both hanging out together in my cart as wee speak actually…along with THESE shoes and THESE jeans (I already have two pairs of these jeans and wear them DAILY and Emmy also has a pair…they are that good).

AND because a Walmart Wednesday would NOT be complete without a pair of leopard shoes…THESE are the ones!! I have always bee too cheap to buy real Birkenstocks…YES I KNOW THEY LAST FOREVER. BUT do I WANT the same shoes FOREVER…NO. BUT for $15 I can grab a pair of leopard fako shoes and wear the crud outta them for the summer and not feel at ALL bad tossing them at the end of the year.
