Little Debbie Tree Cake Dip

Little Debbie Tree Cake Dip

When I was little, there was just NOTHING better than when my mom would bring home a box of Little Debbies!! My favorite were the cosmic brownies…with the oatmeal cream cookies in a close second…haha. BUT when the Christmas Tree Cakes came out…it was no contest!! CHRISTMAS TREE CAKES FOR THE WIN!! So when I heard about people on TikTok making dip out of Little Debbie Tree cakes, I HAD to try it. And JUST LIKE THAT…a new Perkins Family holiday tradition was born. Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake DIP…swoon.

Little Debbie

***You can actually watch me and my bestie Emersyn make the dip HERE on Youtube…along with gingerbread houses made from Poptarts…SERIOUSLY!!

Last year we made the traditional white snack cake dip, but this year we decided to branch out and make the CHOCOLATE version. And really either way you just cannot go wrong. DIP…made of CAKE!! It is a no brainer!! I have included the instructions for Vanilla OR Chocolate. And just an FYI, you can omit the cocoa powder in the chocolate cake dip if you want a more cream cheese based dip. BUT for a chocolatey flavor, add the cocoa powder to your Little Debbie Cake Dip. Simple and easy and great to take last minute to a Christmas Party!!

Little Debbie Tree Cake Dip

The original Little Debbie snack cake taste…but in dip form!!! YUMM!!

Ingredients

  • 1 box Little Debbie Tree Cakes regular or chocolate. ORRRR you can use her everyday snack cakes for dip ANY time of the year.
  • 8 oz cream cheese I prefer whipped
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 8 oz whipped topping
  • 1-1.5 TBSP Cocoa Powder (only if making the Chocolate version)

Instructions

  • Save aside 1 tree for garnish if you want. OR just buy an extra box to use as garnish and for snacking:)
  • In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, snack cakes, and milk. Use a hand mixer to combine until cakes are broken up into small pieces. If you want a chunkier dip, leave some larger pieces. For a smooth dip, mix until cakes are completely broken down.
  • Fold in whipped topping, vanilla, and cocoa powder (only if you are making the chocolate version) until mixed.
  • Put your dip into a small serving bowl. Add sprinkles for garnish. Place one tree into dip as a decoration if wanted.
  • Serve with graham crackers, Nilla wafers, gingersnaps, apples, etc.
